As a school, we are above our planned pupil numbers,  this means places are very few each year as children leave the school in year 11  for example. Your child's SENDCO is always a good source of advice to advise you on the suitability of Abbey to meet your child's needs.  There may be many reasons that we refuse a place for your child including; suitability, peer group, academic attainment, curriculum and use of resources, this is always shared with the placing local authority SEND team who can advise you about this.
